Denmark Lobby Shift: Quickspin Quadruples, Spillehallen Climbs, Pragmatic Trims to Win
Quickspin was a rounding error in Denmark three months ago. It held 1.81 percent of tracked visibility and sat on 12 games. Now it holds 7.44 percent across 30 games and ranks third in the market.
That is a share more than quadrupling while the panel shrank. Spillemyndigheden's Danish lobbies got smaller, and Quickspin still found more shelf.
The panel got smaller, the winners got bigger
First, the base. We tracked 13 Danish casinos and 550 games in June. This snapshot covers 10 casinos and 471 games. Three operators dropped out of the panel.
On a shrinking board, share gains mean something. You are not riding a rising tide. You are taking someone else's slot.
Pragmatic Play is the clearest example. It cut its game count from 66 to 41, a drop of 25 titles, and its share still rose from 11.2 to 12.99 percent. Fewer games, better shelves. That is a provider trimming the tail and keeping the winners.

Three risers, one house brand, one newcomer
Quickspin leads the risers at plus 5.63 points. But look at who follows.
Spillehallen, the Danish house brand, climbed from 6.77 to 10.09 percent and now sits second overall. It added just one game, going from 29 to 30, and pushed a whole clutch of in-house titles up the scoring. Heldig Hummer, Elixira, Toby's Tree, Triton's Quest and Valhalla's Forge all jumped double digits in score on a single casino each. When you own the shelf, you can promote your own catalog. We covered that dynamic in Denmark's house games outrank Pragmatic Play, and this snapshot only sharpens it.
Then there is Fennica Gaming. Zero share in June, 3.32 percent now, across 13 games. A full standing start into the top eight.
| Provider | Share now | Share prev | Games now | Games prev |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quickspin | 7.44% | 1.81% | 30 | 12 |
| Spillehallen | 10.09% | 6.77% | 30 | 29 |
| Fennica Gaming | 3.32% | 0% | 13 | 0 |
| Pragmatic Play | 12.99% | 11.2% | 41 | 66 |
| Games Global | 5.78% | 4.1% | 26 | 30 |
Who paid for it
Someone always does. Push Gaming took the hit, falling from 1.91 to 0.35 percent as its footprint collapsed from 12 games to 2. NetEnt slid from 1.63 to 0.87 percent.
Two providers disappeared entirely. Hacksaw OpenRGS went from 4 games to zero, and Scientific Games from 3 games to zero. On a panel that lost three casinos, the smaller catalogs were the first to get cut.
The top of the lobby now
Gates of Olympus is the most visible game in Denmark, full stop. Score of 100, live on 4 of the 10 casinos, and up from 66 in June. The old warhorse is climbing, not fading.
The bigger story is ELK Studios doing a straight swap at the top. Pirots 4 was Denmark's most visible game in June with a score of 97 on 6 casinos. It is now a score of 5 on a single casino, a 92-point collapse. Its successor, Pirots 5, went the other way: from 18 to 72, and from 1 casino to 5. That is the widest single-title distribution in the market right now.
| Game | Provider | Score | Casinos |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gates of Olympus | Pragmatic Play | 100 | 4 |
| Pirots 5 | ELK Studios | 72 | 5 |
| Gates of Olympus Super Scatter | Pragmatic Play | 64 | 4 |
| Sweet Bonanza 1000 | Pragmatic Play | 64 | 3 |
| House of the Dragon | Blueprint Gaming | 54 | 4 |
House of the Dragon from Blueprint Gaming is the standout newcomer, launching straight to a score of 54 on 4 casinos. Concrete Cowboys from ELK matched it on distribution at 4 casinos with a score of 51.
What to do with this
If you are a provider chasing Danish shelf, the Quickspin playbook is the one to study. It added 18 games onto a contracting panel and quadrupled its share. Volume plus timing beat brand inertia here.
If you are an operator, the Pragmatic result is the lesson. Cutting 25 games did not cost share. A tighter catalog of proven titles held the lobby better than the bloated one did.
Methodology note
The panel changed between snapshots. We tracked 13 casinos in June and 10 now, so total games fell from 550 to 471. Share figures are percentages of tracked visibility, which cushions the panel shift but does not erase it. About 23.9 percent of visibility this snapshot is unattributed to a named provider, including titles like Gates Of Inter that we could not confidently map.
The takeaway is simple: Denmark's lobby got smaller and more concentrated, and the providers who added the right games took the space the exits left behind.
