IGT Doubles Its Pennsylvania Share While Pragmatic Play Vanishes

Pragmatic Play held 2 percent of Pennsylvania lobby visibility in July. Today it holds nothing. Zero games, zero score, gone from every lobby we track.

That is the loudest exit in a snapshot full of movement. IGT more than doubled its share. Light & Wonder climbed too. And the whole PA panel got a lot smaller while it happened.

The panel shrank, then reshuffled

Start with the shape of the market. We now track 9 PA casinos holding 509 games. In July it was 12 casinos and 1,164 games.

That is a 56 percent cut in tracked titles across three fewer lobbies. Fewer shelves, fewer slots per shelf. When the inventory contracts like this, share swings get violent. The providers who kept their placements didn't just hold ground, they gained relative weight automatically.

IGT is the clearest winner of that math.

IGT and Light & Wonder own the top now

IGT moved from 7.14 percent to 15.05 percent of total visibility. It did that while its own game count fell from 58 to 46. Fewer titles, nearly double the share. Better shelves, not more of them.

Light & Wonder ran the same play. Share up from 7.41 to 11.73 percent, game count down from 71 to 41.

Look at Games Global. It lost 63 games, dropping from 90 to 27, and slid from first in July to third now. Volume was its whole position and the volume got cut.

Evolution tells a similar story on the live side. Its game count halved from 61 to 30, share down to 4.41 percent. It still runs 23 of the 64 live dealer games left in the market, so it remains the live anchor. But the catalog is thinner.

Who gained ground

Beyond the two leaders, a cluster of smaller studios picked up share.

White Hat Studios tripled its share off a flat 5-game catalog, which means its placements got a lot more visible. Inspired Gaming doubled its game count to 8. These are small absolute numbers, but in a market this concentrated at the top, every point of share is contested.

The top of the lobby

Cash Eruption by IGT is Pennsylvania's most visible game, full stop. Perfect score of 100, sitting on 6 of the 9 lobbies we track.

๐Ÿ’ก
Cash Eruption jumped from a score of 61 to 100 and from 3 casinos to 6. It is the single biggest driver behind IGT's share surge, and no other slot is close.

Behind it, the shelf is full of fresh faces. Huff N' Puff Haunted Mansion from Light & Wonder arrived at a score of 60 across 4 casinos. Kings of Crystals III POWER COMBO, The Wizard of Oz I'll Get You My Pretty, Crown Bonanza, and two 7's Fire Blitz titles from White Hat Studios all landed as newcomers inside the top of the lobby.

Now the fallers. Lightning Link High Stakes by Aristocrat was the market's top game in July at a score of 100. It is down to 23, off four lobbies to two, a 77 percent collapse. Divine Fortune Gold lost 42 points. The old guard of the PA shelf got cleared to make room for the new slate.

So what

If you provide slots into Pennsylvania, the shelf just got shorter and the competition for each spot got sharper. IGT and Light & Wonder proved you can lose titles and still gain share if the titles you keep land in the right lobbies. That is the game now: placement quality over catalog size.

If you buy positioning here, Cash Eruption is the shelf you are measured against. Six of nine lobbies is the bar.

And if you're Pragmatic Play, this is a market to re-enter from zero. Twenty-four games in July, none today.

Methodology note

We could not attribute 38.82 percent of PA visibility to a named provider this snapshot. Some of that sits with games labeled Unknown, including 12 Loaded Pots Drum Frenzy and Aliens vs Sheep, both in the current top ten. Duplicate provider tags like "lightandwonder" and "gamesglobaldirect" also split some credit from their parent brands. Treat the smaller share figures as directional. The panel itself dropped from 12 casinos to 9 between snapshots, which amplifies every share swing above.

The headline holds regardless: IGT runs Pennsylvania now, and it got there by holding fewer, better shelves.
