Romania's Lobby Reshuffle: EGT Digital Storms In, Amusnet Falls Off the Shelf

EGT Digital was a rounding error in Romania three months ago. It held 1.94 percent of tracked lobby visibility across 7 games. Today it sits at 11.45 percent across 52 games, the single most visible provider in the market.

Now look at who it passed. Amusnet was the runaway leader in April at 17.62 percent. It now holds 4.42 percent. That is a 13.2 point collapse, the biggest move in either direction we tracked in the ONJN market.

The whole top of the shelf got rewritten between our April and July snapshots. Here is what happened.

The panel doubled, and so did the churn

First, context. Our Romanian panel grew from 6 casinos to 9, and tracked games jumped from 256 to 471. More lobbies means more shelf space, and providers moved fast to claim it.

EGT Digital added 45 games and took the top spot. Amusnet lost half its game count, from 33 to 16, and slid to fourth. When shelf space expands and one provider shrinks its footprint at the same time, the fall gets steep. Amusnet managed both at once.

Who gained

The riser list is stacked with names that were near zero in April.

Fazi2.41 pt

Hacksaw Gaming1.72 pt

Greentube is the quiet story here. It climbed from 1.98 percent to 6.39 percent, growing from 6 games to 26 and landing at third overall. Book Of Ra Classic is a fresh newcomer sitting on 2 lobbies with a score of 50.

Fazi, Hacksaw Gaming, and Games Global all went from a standing start to a top ten position. Fazi alone put 13 games on the shelf from nothing. These are not incumbents defending turf. They walked into an expanding panel and grabbed space.

Playson1.16%0.42%4 to 3

Amusnet's retreat is the headline, but the damage runs through its individual titles too. Shining Crown was the most visible game in Romania in April with a perfect score of 100. It now scores 21, an 79 percent drop, and fell from 3 lobbies to 2.

40 Burning Hot went from 61 to 6. Vampire Beast from 34 to 8. When a provider's flagship slots all bleed score at once, it is not a single lobby reshuffling. It is casinos pulling the catalog.

๐Ÿ’ก
Amusnet did not just lose share to a stronger rival. It lost 17 games off the shelf while the panel nearly doubled. That is a catalog in retreat, not a ranking that got crowded out.

What the top of the lobby looks like now

Strip out the unattributed category headers and one game defines the new order: EGT Digital's "Digital", a newcomer scoring 98 across 4 lobbies. That is second only to the "Jocuri Noi" section label and ahead of every other real title we track.

Notice Amusnet still lands two newcomers, Golden Coins Link and Jackpot Cards, both on 3 lobbies. The catalog is not dead. It is being reshaped around jackpot and link mechanics while the classic fruit slots fade.

Live dealer barely registers. Romania is still an RNG market: 12 of 471 tracked games are live, up from 2 of 256. Evolution's "Live dealer" section shows up as a newcomer on a single lobby. If you sell live product into Romania, the shelf is not built for you yet.

So what

For providers, the read is simple. Romania's panel is growing and the incumbents are not defending. EGT Digital, Greentube, Fazi, and Hacksaw all gained by showing up with volume while the panel expanded. The door is open.

For operators, the Amusnet question is live. If you still lead lobbies with Shining Crown and 40 Burning Hot, you are promoting titles the rest of the market is demoting. The visibility momentum has moved to EGT Digital's link slots and Greentube's Book Of Ra line.

One methodology note. 51 percent of Romanian visibility sits in unattributed slots, mostly section headers like "Jocuri Noi" and "Cele mai jucate" that we cannot map to a provider. The share figures above are of total tracked score, so treat provider rankings as directional. The moves are large enough to survive that caveat. Our panel also grew from 6 casinos to 9, which amplifies both gains and losses.

The takeaway: Romania's lobby crown changed hands in a single quarter, and it went to the provider that brought the most games to an expanding shelf.
