Colombia's Lobby Just Tripled in Size, and Pragmatic Play Grabbed a Third of It
Pragmatic Play held 7.02 percent of Colombian lobby visibility in July. Today it holds 33.76 percent.
That is not a drift. That is one provider taking a third of the entire Coljuegos-regulated shelf in a single quarter. Game count went from 33 to 211. No one else is close.
Here's the thing: the whole market got bigger too. Our panel expanded from 9 casinos to 14, and tracked games jumped from 244 to 883. More room on the shelf, and Pragmatic grabbed most of the new space.
The numbers
Pragmatic's 26.74-point jump is the single biggest move in the market. But the next two risers tell the same story in miniature.
Amusnet went from 2.23 percent to 9.77, lifting its game count from 5 to 75. Playtech climbed from 2.59 to 9.41 percent, with games up from 8 to 84. Both roughly quadrupled their footprint as the panel grew.
Provider share, current snapshot
Three names appeared from nothing. Hacksaw Gaming landed 37 games and 3.95 percent share from a standing start. Nolimit City arrived with 22 games and 2.49 percent. Habanero posted 35 games for 2.01 percent. All three were absent in July.
Who lost ground
Not everyone rode the expansion up.
EvolutionGroup, a tracked label holding 6.24 percent and 34 games in July, is gone entirely. Zero games now. Read that alongside Evolution proper climbing to 4.43 percent with 45 games and 39 live tables, and this looks like a provider label being consolidated rather than a provider leaving.
NetEnt is the clearer faller. It dropped from 5.79 percent to 0.81, shedding visibility even as the panel tripled. When the shelf grows and your share collapses, you are being pushed off it.
| Provider | Prev share | Now | Game count |
|---|---|---|---|
| EvolutionGroup | 6.24% | 0% | 34 to 0 |
| NetEnt | 5.79% | 0.81% | 6 to 7 |
| Relax Gaming | 1.54% | 0.2% | 1 to 2 |
| INHOUSE | 1.93% | 0.48% | 3 to 3 |
The top of the lobby
One game sits above everything: Aviator.
Spribe's crash title scored a perfect 100 and now sits on 7 of the 14 casinos we track, up from a single lobby in July when it scored 37. That is a 63-point jump and the biggest game-level move in the market.
Behind it, the board is almost entirely Pragmatic Play. Sugar Rush Super Scatter holds second at 83, up 50 points from 33. Then Joker's Jewels at 69, Spaceman at 60 on 7 lobbies, and a wall of Gates of Olympus variants.
| Game | Provider | Score | Casinos |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aviator | Spribe | 100 | 7 |
| Sugar Rush Super Scatter | Pragmatic Play | 83 | 6 |
| Joker's Jewels | Pragmatic Play | 69 | 6 |
| Spaceman | Pragmatic Play | 60 | 7 |
| Mines | Hacksaw Gaming | 59 | 4 |
| Tesoro Caribeño | Pragmatic Play | 58 | 6 |
Nine of the top ten games carry the Pragmatic name. Two of them, Tesoro Caribeño and Dulzura Tricolor, are locally themed slots that debuted straight into the upper lobby. That is a provider building Colombia-specific content and seeing it land.
So what
For operators, the shelf has a clear anchor now. Pragmatic plus Spribe's Aviator is the spine of a competitive Colombian lobby, and the data says players are being steered there. Differentiation has to come from what you put around that core, not from ignoring it.
For rival providers, the warning is in the NetEnt line. The market tripled and NetEnt still lost nearly five points of share. Growth does not lift everyone. New entrants Hacksaw and Nolimit City took the space that stale catalogs gave up.
For affiliates, the live segment is quietly booming. Tracked live games went from 43 to 135. Evolution alone runs 39 live tables, Pragmatic 24, Playtech 18. Roulette risers like Mega Roulette 3000 and Quantum Roulette Live each gained 30-plus points. Live casino traffic in Colombia is a growing shelf, not an afterthought.
We covered the earlier phase of this run in our August read on Colombia. The direction held. The scale did not.
Methodology
The panel grew from 9 casinos to 14 between the two snapshots, so some of the game-count jumps reflect more lobbies being tracked, not only providers adding titles. Share percentages are normalized against total tracked visibility, which controls for that. We could not attribute 14.09 percent of visibility to a named provider. Label variants like PRAGMATYC_PLAY and EVOLUTION_GAME are vendor naming artifacts and sit near their parent brands.
Colombia is no longer a thin market with a handful of standout games. It is a 14-casino, 883-game shelf with one provider holding a third of it and a crash game on top. The next question is who challenges that spine.
