New Jersey's Lobby Reshuffle: Evolution Storms the Top, Scientific Games Vanishes
Evolution more than tripled its share of New Jersey lobbies in three months. It went from 3.04 percent to 10.84 percent and took the number one spot outright.
Now look at this: over the same window, Scientific Games went from 7.87 percent to exactly zero. Forty games, gone from the panel. The top of New Jersey's shelf looks nothing like it did in June.
The panel grew, the game count shrank
First the frame. We now track 15 NJ casinos, up from 13. But total tracked games fell from 673 to 651.
More lobbies, fewer games. That is consolidation, not expansion. Operators added to the panel, providers trimmed the shelf.
Live dealer tells the same story. Live games dropped from 61 to 38 across the market. Fewer tables on display, even as Evolution muscled its way to the top.
Who gained
Evolution is the headline, and it earned it. The provider added 18 games (25 to 43) and holds 19 live titles, the most of anyone in the market by a distance.
Its game-show and live-table catalog carried the rise. Crazy Time jumped from a score of 21 to 77, the single biggest game gain in New Jersey. Monopoly Live went from 1 to 47. Lightning Roulette climbed from 10 to 53.
Biggest provider share gains (percentage points)
Light & Wonder shows up at 6.45 percent from a standing start of zero. Read that alongside Scientific Games falling from 7.87 to zero and the picture sharpens. This looks like a brand reclassification, not a new entrant conjuring 36 games overnight. Same catalog, new label.
Games Global is the quieter winner. Up from 4.51 to 8.72 percent, and it did it by volume: 57 games, the largest single catalog on the panel. Zero live titles, all RNG.
Play'n GO nearly tripled its share to 3.42 percent and grew from 7 games to 25. Blueprint Gaming arrived from nothing to 2.2 percent and 16 games.
Who lost
Set aside the Scientific Games reclassification and the losers are the smaller aggregator and Slingo names.
| Provider | Share now | Share before | Delta |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scientific Games | 0% | 7.87% | -7.87pp |
| Slingo Originals | 0.76% | 2.61% | -1.85pp |
| DGCGameflex | 0% | 1.56% | -1.56pp |
| WhiteHat | 0% | 1.19% | -1.19pp |
| DGC | 0% | 1.12% | -1.12pp |
Slingo took a real hit. Its share fell to 0.76 percent, and two of its titles led the game fallers list: Slingo Da Vinci Diamond dropped from 17 to 4, Slingo Mine Frenzy from 15 to 7. The Slingo shelf in New Jersey is thinning fast.
DGCGameflex, WhiteHat, and DGC all fell off entirely. Combined they held nearly 4 points of visibility in June. Now they hold none.
The top of the lobby now
Here is the current shelf. Note who owns it.
| Game | Provider | Score | Casinos |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cleopigtras Touchdown Temple Megaways | Unknown | 100 | 2 |
| Cash Eruption | IGT | 92 | 4 |
| Wheel of Fortune | IGT | 77 | 1 |
| Crazy Time | Evolution | 77 | 3 |
| Treasure Blast Fleet | IGT | 66 | 3 |
| Cash | Evolution | 66 | 2 |
| 88 Fortunes | Light & Wonder | 56 | 2 |
The most visible game in New Jersey is an unattributed Megaways title with a perfect score of 100, sitting on 2 lobbies. Behind it, IGT owns the slot ceiling. Cash Eruption is the highest-scoring attributed game at 92 and sits on 4 casinos, the widest reach on the board.
IGT barely moved on share (6.87 to 7.04 percent) but placed three games in the top five. Steady, not flashy, and it holds the widest single title in the market.
So what
If you provide live casino to New Jersey operators, Evolution just set the bar. Nineteen live titles and the top game-show slots. That is the shelf you are fighting for, and the market shrank its live footprint from 61 games to 38 while Evolution grew. The room is smaller and one provider owns most of it. Our live casino divide analysis shows how quickly that concentration hardens once it starts.
If you are IGT or Light & Wonder, breadth is your weapon. Cash Eruption reaching 4 casinos beats any single Evolution slot on placement. Volume shelves win slots visibility here.
If you are a smaller aggregator, read the faller list as a warning. DGC, DGCGameflex, and WhiteHat went from real share to nothing in one refresh. This market is not sentimental about mid-tier catalogs.
Methodology note
Two casinos joined the panel and one dropped between snapshots, so some movement reflects panel composition, not pure gains or losses. We could not attribute 36.68 percent of total visibility to a named provider, including the top-scoring game, so treat the provider ranking as a floor. The Scientific Games to Light & Wonder swing is consistent with a brand reclassification rather than a genuine exit and entry.
New Jersey's lobby got smaller and more concentrated at the same time. Evolution and IGT now own the top of it, and everyone else is fighting for the middle.
