EGT Digital Owns One Fifth of Romania's Lobbies After the Panel Doubled

EGT Digital sat on 3.01 percent of Romanian lobby visibility at the end of June. It now holds 22.61 percent. That is not a climb, that is a takeover.

Here's the thing: the panel itself nearly doubled in the same window. We now track 11 Romanian casinos and 518 games, up from 6 casinos and 276 games. A bigger, cleaner view of the market. And the view it produced is dominated by one provider and one style of slot.

EGT Digital ran the table

EGT Digital added 81 games, jumping from 12 to 93. Its share almost octupled. No other provider comes within 12 points.

The next tier is a scrap for second. Amusnet climbed to 10.37 percent, Pragmatic Play to 10.23 percent. They are basically tied, but they got there differently. Amusnet went from 9 games to 46, a classic volume push. Pragmatic went from 21 to 53 and still runs the only live game in the panel.

Greentube is the other big mover. It went from 0.96 percent to 6.67 percent, adding 28 games. Four providers now hold half the visible shelf between them.

Who lost the shelf

Not everyone rode the expansion up. Two names went backwards in absolute terms while the panel grew around them.

BF Games dropped from 4.66 percent to 0.64 percent, shedding 7 games. Play'n GO fell from 4.24 percent to 0.93 percent, down to 4 titles. Both were mid-pack in June. Both are now afterthoughts.

Evolution disappeared from the tracked set entirely, from 1.75 percent to zero. Tech4bet dropped its 4 games and vanished too. When the shelf triples in size and your count falls, you are being actively pushed off.

The top of the lobby is a fruit machine

Look at what Romanian players see first. The single most visible game is titled "Digital" from EGT Digital, sitting on a perfect score of 100 across 4 casinos. Behind it, Amusnet's classics: Golden Coins Link at 69, Shining Crown at 62 on 5 lobbies, Extra Crown at 55.

This is a Balkan slot shelf, not a Western one. Bell Links, Burning Hots, Shining Crowns. The games rising fastest tell the same story. 40 Burning Hot Bell Link jumped 35 points to 51. Greentube's Sizzling Hot Deluxe and Roaring Forties both gained 30 and 22. Gates of Olympus climbed 21 points to spread across 3 casinos.

The fallers are the imports. Pragmatic's Big Bass Bonanza lost 15 points, its Jackpot Play lost 14, and BF Games' Blasting Superbet dropped 15. The lobby is rotating toward the classic fruit format and away from feature-heavy Western slots.

So what

If you are a provider eyeing Romania, the message is blunt. EGT Digital and Amusnet built the local shelf, and the classic Balkan slot is what earns front-page position. Pragmatic proved you can grow here with volume, but even its share is a third of EGT's.

For operators, second place is genuinely open. Amusnet and Pragmatic are separated by 0.14 points. Greentube climbed almost six points in a quarter from nowhere. The tier below EGT is still being sorted, and a smart merchandising bet now decides who owns it next quarter.

For affiliates, follow the newcomers. Digital, Shining Crown, Gates of Olympus Super Scatter, and Phoenix Star Super Pot all landed straight into the top of the lobby. These are the titles operators are pushing hardest right now.

๐Ÿ’ก
EGT Digital did not just win share, it reshaped the format. Romania's most visible slots are now Bulgarian-style Bell Links and Burning Hots, and the Western feature slots that led in June are sliding down the page.

Methodology

This snapshot compares 30 June 2026 to 29 September 2026 across ONJN-licensed lobbies. The panel grew from 6 casinos to 11, so some share movement reflects a wider view rather than pure gains or losses. We flag it where it matters.

One caveat on attribution: 32.7 percent of visibility could not be matched to a provider. Several top-scoring entries, including "5 Diamond Plus" and a pair of Betano promotional tiles, are logged as Unknown. Real provider shares, especially EGT Digital's, are likely higher once those resolve. See our earlier Romania lobby shift for the July baseline.

The takeaway is simple. One provider owns the top of the Romanian lobby, and everyone else is fighting for the shelf below it.
