Spain's Lobbies Shrank. The Big Names Got Bigger.
Spain's tracked panel lost two casinos and 327 games between June and July. You would expect share to spread thinner. It did the opposite.
Every single provider in the top five gained ground. Pragmatic Play, Games Global, Playtech, Evolution, MGA Games. All up, some by a lot. Fewer shelves, and the big names took more of what was left.
Pragmatic pulls away
Pragmatic Play now owns 14.69 percent of Spanish lobby visibility, up from 10.58. That is a 4.11-point jump, the biggest in the market.
Here's the thing: it didn't add games. Pragmatic's count actually slipped from 136 to 134. It gained share by holding better shelves while the panel around it thinned out. That is the cleaner kind of win.
Games Global is the other headline. Share climbed from 5.75 to 9.48 percent, and unlike Pragmatic it grew its footprint too, 135 games to 151. It is now the third most visible provider in Spain, and the only one in the top three still adding titles.

Playtech and Evolution rebuild live
Playtech jumped from 4.88 to 7.96 percent, and its game count went from 62 to 81. Fifteen of those are live tables. In a market where live visibility has been thin, that is a deliberate push.
Evolution's move is even sharper. Share doubled, 2.97 to 5.95 percent, and its game count leapt from 36 to 74. It carries 39 live games, more than any other provider on the panel.
Now look at the fine print. In June we tracked "Evolution Live" and "EvolutionGroup" as separate labels worth 2.58 and 0.72 points. Both are gone in July, folded into the main Evolution line. Some of that doubling is attribution cleanup, not pure new placement. The direction is still up either way.
| Provider | Share now | Share prev | Games | Live |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pragmatic Play | 14.69% | 10.58% | 134 | 1 |
| Slingo Originals | 12.14% | 10.48% | 64 | 0 |
| Games Global | 9.48% | 5.75% | 151 | 3 |
| Playtech | 7.96% | 4.88% | 81 | 15 |
| Evolution | 5.95% | 2.97% | 74 | 39 |
| MGA Games | 4.63% | 1.54% | 57 | 0 |
MGA Games triples its shelf
The local specialist had the quietest big move. MGA Games went from 1.54 to 4.63 percent share, tripling its footprint from 37 games to 57. In a Spanish lobby, a homegrown provider climbing that fast is worth watching. ELK Studios did the same thing on a smaller base, 7 games to 22, share up from 0.33 to 1.95 percent.
The top of the lobby
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter is Spain's most visible game, a clean 100 score across 15 casinos. Big Bass Splash sits second at 79, though it slipped from a near-perfect 99 last snapshot. Book of Dead and Starburst round out the top with 71 and 69.
Starburst is a newcomer to our tracked top list at 69 across 12 casinos, and it is the reason NetEnt's share climbed from 0.61 to 1.77 percent. A ten-year-old slot re-entering the top five tells you how much of this lobby runs on evergreens.
ELK's Pirots franchise is the fresh blood. Pirots 5 debuts at 66 across 6 casinos, Pirots 4 at 57 across 9. Play'n GO's Rumble Kong CASHINGO lands at 55 on 12 lobbies. That is where the new placement energy went.
What fell
Sweet Bonanza 2500 is the story of the quarter. Score 90 in June, 20 now, a 70-point collapse. Its casino count dropped from 14 to 5. When Pragmatic's own title falls that hard while the brand's overall share rises, it means operators swapped one Pragmatic slot for another. Big Bass Bonanza climbed from 28 to 53, Big Bass Bonanza 1000 from 19 to 51. The fish are eating the candy.

First Person Blackjack and Ruleta Infinite both dropped hard on the live side, even as Evolution and Playtech grew their table counts. New tables in, tired ones out.
So what
If you are a provider fighting for Spanish shelf space, the window is narrowing. Placement is concentrating around Pragmatic, Games Global, and a live push from Playtech and Evolution. Getting in now means displacing a title, not filling an empty slot.
If you buy positioning, the Pragmatic churn is your opening. The brand keeps its share while individual slots rise and fall fast. Sweet Bonanza 2500 lost 9 casinos in seven weeks. Those shelves moved to other Pragmatic games, but they moved, which means they can move to you.
For the local angle, MGA Games tripling its footprint is the signal that Spanish-made content still has room to climb. See our earlier read in Spain's June lobby shift for how this trend started.
One methodology note. About 17 percent of visibility stays unattributed, and the Evolution label merge inflates part of its jump. Treat the live-side numbers as a floor, not a precise count.
The takeaway: a smaller Spanish lobby is a more top-heavy one. The brands that already owned the shelf just took more of it.
