Netherlands Lobby Shift: Pragmatic Holds, Games Global Surges, Halloween Takes the Top
Starburst spent the last snapshot as the single most visible game in the Netherlands, scoring a perfect 100. It is now down to 58. The game that replaced it at the top did not exist on Dutch lobbies three months ago.
That game is Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000, a Pragmatic Play seasonal drop sitting on 11 of the 27 casinos we now track. Here's the thing: the entire panel reshuffled underneath it, and Pragmatic did not flinch.
Pragmatic held through a panel that nearly doubled
Between our August and October snapshots, the Dutch panel grew from 16 casinos to 27, and tracked games climbed from 2,245 to 2,808. That kind of expansion usually scrambles share rankings. It did not touch the leader.
Pragmatic moved from 18.57 percent to 18.72 percent, a rounding error in raw share, while its game count rose from 266 to 314. More titles, same grip. No one else is within ten points of it.
The chase pack is where the action is. Games Global, Hacksaw Gaming and Play'n GO all jumped, and the order behind Pragmatic looks nothing like it did in August.
Biggest share gains, Aug to Oct 2026
Games Global is the headline. It nearly doubled its share from 3.02 percent to 5.45 percent and added 48 games, vaulting into second place. Hacksaw climbed from 3.33 to 5.12 percent on 34 new titles. Play'n GO went from 3.26 to 4.90 percent.
Then there is LeoVegas Studios, which went from zero to 1.64 percent with 19 games. That is almost certainly the panel expansion bringing in operator-affiliated content, but the visibility is real and it lands them inside the top risers on arrival.
Who gave up shelf space
For every riser, something slipped. The fallers are led by two providers tied at the exact same drop.
| Provider | Share now | Share before | Delta |
|---|---|---|---|
| Playson | 3.39% | 5.26% | -1.87 |
| Amusnet | 0.95% | 2.82% | -1.87 |
| Relax Gaming | 4.41% | 6.20% | -1.79 |
| EGT Digital | 1.65% | 2.91% | -1.26 |
| Red Tiger | 1.80% | 2.91% | -1.11 |
Relax Gaming is the one that stings most. It held 151 games, actually up from 141, and still lost 1.79 points of share. That is dilution in action: when the panel grows and competitors add visible titles, holding a flat catalog means sliding backward. Nuclear Tumble, a Relax newcomer scoring 69 across 11 casinos, is doing the heavy lifting that keeps the studio in sixth.
Playson's fall is more structural. Clover Smash collapsed from 81 to 4, Sugar Piggy Hold and Win went from 45 to 1, and 3 Thunder Coins dropped 47 points. The studio added games but lost its anchors.
The top of the lobby is Pragmatic and pumpkins
Seven of the ten most visible games in the Netherlands right now are Pragmatic Play. The Big Bass franchise and the Gates of Olympus family own the shelf.
| Game | Provider | Score | Casinos |
|---|---|---|---|
| Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 | Pragmatic Play | 100 | 11 |
| Book of Dead | Play'n GO | 92 | 16 |
| Big Bass Bonanza | Pragmatic Play | 92 | 14 |
| Big Bass Splash | Pragmatic Play | 87 | 15 |
| Gates of Olympus Super Scatter | Pragmatic Play | 80 | 14 |
| Nuclear Tumble | Relax Gaming | 69 | 11 |
| Pirots 5 | ELK Studios | 69 | 13 |
Watch the casino count, not just the score. Book of Dead sits on 16 of 27 lobbies, the widest footprint of any title in the market, even though its score trails the new Halloween drop. That is the difference between seasonal heat and evergreen placement.
The seasonal wave is unmistakable. Big Bass Halloween 3 rose 54 points, Big Bass Halloween 2 rose 33, and three of the eight fastest-rising games are explicitly Halloween themed. Expect those exact scores to deflate in the November snapshot. Legacy of Dead (+38) and Le Bandit (+37) are the risers more likely to hold.
Methodology note
This panel grew from 16 to 27 casinos between snapshots, so absolute game counts rose across almost every provider. Share percentages are the cleaner comparison because they measure relative visibility, not raw catalog size. Live dealer tracked games went from 152 to 234. Unattributed visibility sits at 7.23 percent, low enough not to move the rankings. For the prior picture, see our August Netherlands breakdown.
The takeaway: a panel can almost double and Pragmatic still owns one in five points of Dutch lobby visibility. The real contest is for second, and Games Global just grabbed it.
